: Siefer and "Mid-Boss"

Man I have been sitting on this Siefer drawing for over a month now. I just really did not want to draw those boots. Of course, once I really finalize the details on them, I'm sure I won't mind. Anyways, I finally touched it up and am presenting it now.



I actually didn't FINISH Siefer until I felt "Mid-Boss" was complete. You could say about 1% of Siefer was done today. Yeah it was pretty much complete this whole time.

So yeah, here's the next one:



NSFW? I almost made the mid section green to avoid the "too close to skin tones" issue in the back of my mind. I've been adding more little details with every new drawing. It's not visible at this angle but I may add a rose stitching on her pants.

Mid-boss is obviously NOT her name. She's essentially a villain that you meet early on in the game. She's important because most enemies are not going to be human. Also, everyone knows that the mid-boss is the most popular character in games 90% of the time. Protoman? Gray Fox? Knuckles (Sonic 3)? They all tend to have the most interesting back-story and personalities. I've been personally referring to her as both mid-boss and #2 in my Rudra notes. Fun fact: Her gameplay and weapon were actually designed first! Hmm, that wasn't really all that fun. Sorry.

: Zetch 2

You may remember that drawing of Zetch I posted like...a year ago. You may also remember all those images of the 3D model that I had been working on. Well after all these secondary character designs, I was beginning to find Zetch to be very stale. Finally I decided that he needed a little tweak. This also has a little to do with the gradual story development going on. And by that I mean originally the "organization" had all agents wearing some kind of Beige and each team was color coordinated. So technically Zetch's jacket should be blue...BAH WHATEVER HERE HE IS!



It sucks though. I can't seem to figure out why the colors aren't quite as good in the export. I've bumped my usual quality from 90 to 95% and that's a little improvement over the ladies. However the colors just don't blend as smooth and it's a little irritating. Oh well, I bet most people couldn't tell the difference without being pointed out anyway.

My next update may finally show off "Mid-boss." No not the one from Disgaea.

: The B-...Girls of RUDRA

Alright so I haven't touched the con-trast redesign ever since I starting going nuts with illustrations. New graphing pencil + tablet computer = much drawing. I had intended on finishing and uploading the new site BEFORE going RUDRA-happy. Oh well, I've drawn and redrawn each character, refining their design each time. Right now I have plenty to show on everyone, but I think the most complete drawings I have are the 2 girls of Rudra. I decided to draw each character with a focus on their weapon. First up is Cilvia.



She has 2 keypads attached to her sleeves that she uses to hack into the network to help Zetch and co. When in combat herself, she dons the goggles. She is a master programmer and has created numerous creatures that she can summon in battle. As far as gameplay is concerned, you basically control her as if you were typing. Holding one button will...hmm I think I'll hold off on this until I get a patent :D.

Next up is Tomoe (To-mo-ay)



Seriously I'm not sure if I should spell it with an "E" or an "A." Tomoe starts off with only a set of claws. I'll do my best to not hear "snikt" when she whips them out. As you continue her combo, she accumulates more pieces until what you see up there. Certain parts of the game will have Tomoe taking part in flying sequences. Yes she can fly, but she used to have a motorcycle. Oh and that thing on her back? That would be the digital infection I mentioned before. Originally it was an ugly scar, but I decided that just won't do.

I hope to post art of the MEN of RUDRA some time soon. By my standards, soon means MAYBE by the end of the month.
